Dateline Opinion & Sarcasm 10-17-2023 Burkholder: I was for warehouses before I was against them.
It seems Mr. Burkholder, the politically promiscuous wannabe trustee, in Etna Township, Ohio has had a miraculous healing of his past flings with warehouses, developers, and TIFs to help orchestrate the fiction that he has always been for keeping Etna Rural. Burkholder and his running mate Mark Evans will say or do anything to get back in power (expelled by voters in 2008 and rejected in 2012). Now Burkholder & Evans want to extend the grief and as always, truth is the first casualty. Gary is no stranger to tortured truths. Yet, even for a Burkholder-Evans whopper this is rich.
Hopefully the Etna township voters will remember the Burkholder basic 2004–2008 three-point operating system (in use for this election): 1. Bloviate (knows everything) 2. Obfuscate (only allow half-truths ignore inconvenient truths) 3. Orchestrate (send your minions, Evans, Davis, etc. out to do the dirty work)
Ala John Kerry, Gary Burkholder was for warehouses before he was against them. Never mind the promiscuous trysts with Prologis and other well-known players. After the giveaway’s Gary now wants to step to the altar as trustee, again, wearing white asking for longtime residents to forget his duplicitous ways. At the candidate night Burkholder said (Evans has the video) the TIF’s etc. absolutely take money from the schools (but only during an election).
Below see Gary with the Sliver Shovel dedicating the first 1.5 million sq feet of warehouses in Etna.
What is the total square footage of Prologis Park 70 — Etna Building 3?
Prologis Park 70 — Etna Building 3 totals 524,234 square feet.
When was this property built?
Prologis Park 70 — Etna Building 3 was built in 2007 (Burkholder 2004–2008). During this time Gary Burkholder was Trustee and President of Trustees. As noted, Gary was for warehouses before he was against them.
