As one wit said, “politics” is show-business for ugly people. ” Of course the ugliness is often in deeds and actions.

Toxic in the Township

Then, voting or the legal system is surgery. -Jon Hanson, April 18, 2024. The Toxic Leader (TL) generally has at least one supporter with power, the Toxic Enabler (TE) a small group of dependable non-questioning Innocent Followers & Toxic Followers (TF), and a few Toxic Followers that get promoted to Toxic Minions (TM). The Toxic Minions often stay in the background, and while they pay deference to the TL and TE, they perform “helping tasks” for the TL. A TM may assist in blocking presentations in a company or controlling social media sites to eliminate any criticism of the TL. They always seem to be

Burkholder? Born Again Virgin on Warehouses?

Dateline Opinion & Sarcasm 10-17-2023 Burkholder: I was for warehouses before I was against them. It seems Mr. Burkholder, the politically promiscuous wannabe trustee, in Etna Township, Ohio has had a miraculous healing of his past flings with warehouses, developers, and TIFs to help orchestrate the fiction that he has always been for keeping Etna Rural. Burkholder and his running mate Mark Evans will say or do anything to get back in power (expelled by voters in 2008 and rejected in 2012). Now Burkholder & Evans want to extend the grief and as always, truth is the first casualty. Gary is no stranger to tortured truths. Yet, even for a Burkholder-Evans whopper this is rich. Hopefully the Etna township voters

Ballman Rd Letter sent by Jon Hanson

This letter mailed to my neighbors caused the latest proxy attack from the Burkholder Gang. In their attack nothing in the letter is mentioned. As with all tyrant’s symbolism is more important than substance. Neighbor: Hello, my name is Jon Hanson. I have been a resident of the Etna Reynoldsburg area for over 20 years. My family moved to Reynoldsburg in 1966 when I was a boy. I have owned land in Etna since 1991; and in 1999, I built a house. I currently live in the old part of Royal Acres, which is located just off Mink Street. I have a simple request. Would you kindly consider voting for my friend Trent Stepp for Etna Township Trustee? I have

Burkholder Evans (leaked) Texts not all but some.

First text on pdf. Evans plans firing of three township employees. About a dozen texts there are many more made public on Facebook. Download below. This is why the Burkholder campaign through fake accounts and proxies to distract. Also, pdf of Burkholder trying to remove Rachel Siddens as trustee when he was president after changing meetings to a night she could not attend. They have not refuted anything on this site. Only attack the messengers.

Burkholder: “We Need to Build a Wall to Keep Out the Democrats.” Pivots from Warehouse Building to Dump on Reynoldsburg.

Burkholder switches from Warehouses to Wall Building in Etna Dateline November 2, 2023. The father of the Etna Warehouses (Burkholder was Trustee/President in 2004-2008 when built), only days ago, speaking to the Licking County Republican Women’s group now says he wants to build a wall, presumably an ideological wall which excludes people that are a valuable part of the community and the conversation. This is my hometown, my family moved to Reynoldsburg in 1965. My father died (1968) leaving my mom with a few hundred a month (SSI and VA) for 5 kids and the house. The people of Reynoldsburg saved my life. The Roshon family (and many others) often fed me. Mr. Bennett of Bennett’s Garage took me in

Letters to the Editor

Newark Advocate October 21, 2023 Etna administrator’s husband urges vote for Trent Stepp Will Etna Township voters empower two more years of circus-style meetings and lawsuits — or begin to clean up the mess? Residents mostly blame Mark Evans or Rozland McKee for the in-fighting. These two are voted on in 2025. The matter at hand is whether we elect twice-defeated Gary Burkholder to embolden Evans’ written threats, or elect the only candidate that is not a known associate of the Burkholder-Evans cabal, Trent Stepp. Until the political targeting of my wife by Burkholder and Evans, threatening to fire her, I was content to sit out. With the release of the Burkholder-Evans plans via Evans’ Facebook messages, attacking my wife,

Burkholder Refuses to Answer Questions after Meeting. Storms Away Yelling

Dateline October 27, 2023, News-Etna Ohio. After the Tuesday meeting three days ago, I intended to ask Gary Burkholder, a candidate for Re-election to trustee rejected in 2008 and 2012 by voters, about his 4-to-8-hour meetings and civility in the township meetings, one of the campaigns talking points Evans promotes for him. Civility and warehouses are the two main topics voters are asking about. He held his temper for perhaps 30 seconds. I understand how painful revisiting a failed past is. When confronted with dates and times, Gary came unwound like a cheap golf ball. I also asked him if, when he was president of the trustees, about an 8-hour trustee meeting on March 25, 2004 (see Etna Meetings book,

Burkholder’s Spokesperson Shares the Plan in Action to Sabotage the Township

Dateline October 19, 2023 (Snark-Opinion-Research) The ever-talkative Facebook Resident, Mark Evans of the Burkholder-Evans Campaign through another leaked FB boast (image below) says he plans to keep hitting Nita (the township administrator) and the Township with public information requests. The four of us contributing here ask: “Is it OK to sabotage the organization you were elected to represent to advance yourself and your hand chosen accomplice-candidate?” There must be a better explanation than trying to tie up the employees of the township with an avalanche of random requests designed to make the three employees Burkholder-Evans say they will fire when elected look bad.  Gary? Gary? Suggested Burkholder Evans motto: “A problem for every solution” meaning we can fix those problems,
